Together with European Council President van Rompuy and High Representative Ashton we have had two very fruitful meeting days at the EU-Russia summit here in Brussels. We discussed many important issues - Russia's WTO accession, visa-free travel of our citizens, the economic situation in Europe, energy relations and more - during these two days, starting with a more informal dinner on Wednesday and a number of topical sessions throughout Thursday. These meetings were held in a very constructive atmosphere and I would like to thank President Medvedev for the good quality of the debates we had. It will very likely be the last EU-Russia summit during President Medvedev's presidency and I hope that also with his successor this constructive atmosphere will continue to reign our mutually beneficial relationships.
